Other Maintenance Tips & Tricks

Filters: Three types :

Fuel filter :Normally changed every 20,000 miles(check your manufacturer manual)

 

Oil filter: Approximately  at 5,000 mile(check your manufacturer manual)

Air  filter: Approximately at 15,000 mile(check your manufacturer manual)

Fluids: Three types

Brake fluid:Normally changed every 15,000 miles(check your manufacturer manual)

Transmission fluid:changed every 100,000 miles(check your manufacturer manual)

Power steering fluid:Some sources says 50,000 and others says 100,000 miles(check your manufacturer manual)

Note: Don’t forget with the fluids item the ENGINE OIL and COOLANT (discussed before)

Tighten chassis nuts and bolts (once every year)

Windshield Wipers :Best timing is in the fall before the winter and after the hot summer

Brake Pads: Normally it is said to be changed every 20,000 miles(check your manufacturer manual)

Paint job :there are a lot of polishers and wax products to make your car shiny as brand new one but my words to you:

-Use those products reasonably and pick the genuine ones because once you have harmed the original paint work it will be so difficult or expensive to restore it back again

-Wash as soon as possible the bird’s pooh before it get dry or sun rise on it,,,believe me that is very important not to see your car one day got spotted because of leaving that pooh
